Didn't really feel like the right thing at the time, nor the bad thing...just The Thing.
Had that happened a couple of hard days later, after having had to get even more adroit with that saber, I would definitely be going to hell.
As it was the Irony of the coverage of that Crucifixion or our City lies in the way most of America has no idea of how little the press matters when the Shock Doctrine is invoked and there is no where to put out the paper because Everything has broken down and the body politic is busy trying to gnaw it way out of the trap.
We don't often tell people the really gruesome details of that 1st week of the flood.
