~Sandy Rosenthal, founder of Levees.org, delivers a formal letter to Laverne Saulney in Senator Landrieu's New Orleans District Office, calling on Sen. Landrieu to initiate an investigation into the Army Corps of Engineers over claims of a “coordinated abuse of public forums” following a WWL-TV story by Dennis Woltering.

Great Falls levees may be victim of Corps Abandonment
~Two massive levees surround hundreds of homes on the West Side of Great Falls and in Vaughn, Montana; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been responsible for those levees for years, but officials have told KRTV that the Corps is getting out of the levee business. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was responsible for certifying and fixing the levees each year, but now the Corps is sending letters saying it will no longer do it.

Editilla, Thank you so much for posting the "Cresent City Snow" video. I remember when we were not sure that the places Susan sung about would ever exist again. This song use to break my heart. Now it is a sign of home renewed. THANK YOU!

I just had a Jones on for Cowsill that day.

We were honored to premier that video in the New Orleans area the night it was released on LCN/TV.
It still chokes me up.
I can't wait to see her perform sometime.
Have you heard that one she does "Talking New Orleans"? We hang that one a lot too.
She plays regularly at the Carrolton Station but is on tour right now, doing one of her sets the entire Beatles album "Revolver". Ha! Whadda troopa!
