The LSU Earth Scan Lab receives atmospheric and infrared imagery of the Atlantic basin every thirty minutes from NOAA's GOES satellite. ESL generates a number of real-time atmospheric products consisting of different regions of interest to Louisiana, such as the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Tropics.
