Bruce, I'm pushing NOLA for the next meet-up of our Episcopal bloggers group. I copied your suggestions to Kirstin on where to go, because I've been away for so long. If the others agree, we will be there in October, and we hope to include a work day.

You might enjoy checking in with these folks.

and some of the other bloggers in the 'Second Line' to the left.
They do a knock-out Blogger Conference around Katrina's Anniversary. Nice bunch.

I've been to Rising Tide twice. Were you there? I was the old lady.

I made it to the party at Buffa's. However, got lost in City Park riding a bike to the conference that morning~~and had started out at like 7am!:)...which turned out to be just the thing if you know what it means...then I found some wifi later and followed the conference that way.
I was in town to perform at Neutral Grounds Coffee House too and what'nots...lots-O-what'nots...

I didn't make it to Buffa's, and I got lost, too, trying to find the yacht club, but finally made it after taking several wrong turns. I could see the place, but I could not find the road there.

So you don't live in NOLA either. What do you perform?

OK, OK, I see. You are in exile. I see drums, so I assume that you play the drums.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!
