This blog is front and center on the Gulf with a guy who isn't afraid to get himself involved with a passion.

This man, who writes well and with passion, who apologizes and declares he is no journalist, in my book has many of the cards because he does what journalists are commanded to do by Thomas Jefferson: educate, inform and hold power to account.

It is something many people forget who simply just want to be noticed.

This man is here to get the problems noticed. I am someone who is applauding his work long and loud, as a professional journalist.
