Battling myths of the New Orleans flood ~Levees.org
~Editilla Scrotellas~ What is it with some American journalists' aversion to Fact Checking? Media inaccuracy carries its own Idiot Wind, yet when called on it some writers resort to Whining and Personal Attack, rather than correct their Misstatement of Fact. Levees.org, by definition dedicated to the Factual Representations of the Federal Flood of New Orleans 8/29/05, called this pathetic, politically progressive, passive-aggressive punk on an Actual Fact that was disputed and settled in Federal Court recently, to wit: the barge loose in the Industrial Canal during the hurricane. His response? Poor Baby. "Well, I guess Wilde was right: no good deed goes unpunished."
Oh Snap! Thaaat's riiiight! Been there, heard that. We ignorant New Orleanians just don't get it when a major media outlet like The Nation hoses us with Post- Katrina Love, despite misstatements of facts about why the city flooded.
We stupid ungrateful whodats just don't appreciate all the nice things they say about us, the continued coverage they still give the city. Facts Be Damned.
Well lemme'toll'ya, Hertsgaard, you ignorant slut, Kiss My Ass ...and oh yeah... Fuck You You Fucking Fuck.
