~Mark Schleifstein

~Editilla Rotellas da'Hotella on da'Cotella~
See the Corps. See the Corps play 3 Card Monte.
Please see how the Corps of Engineers is very skillfully playing all these sides against their middle, to wit: has established Conflict with the City of New Orleans City Council, Levee Authority, the State Coastal Restoration and Flood Protection Authority, the state highway dept, the Railroad, the contractors and their own Corps Justice Dept lawyers...Oh, and We The People.

We'll see if losing Charity Hospital will become his Term Limit.

Insurance Industry Study says Surge damage could hit $4.7B
~The figures are based on damage not from wind but from storm surge, the rise in sea level caused by large tropical storms, from a study by First American Co., a large company that offers title and specialty insurance and property information. The study included only residential property, so Corpus Christi’s total risk including commercial and industrial properties is much higher. The dollar amounts include only real property, not other belongings that likely would also be lost in the storm.
